Genuine Volkswagen factory original rear tailgate emblem, OEM part number 357 853 601 B. Chrome face on a grey ABS carrier, with two integrated push-posts on the reverse. This is the real VW part, not an aftermarket reproduction.

Front or rear? Check the suffix. This is the 69mm rear badge, suffix B. It is not the larger front grille emblem, which carries suffix E and mounts with a retaining cage. If your old badge measures about 69mm across and pushes through the panel on two plain posts, this is the right part. Measure yours or check the number moulded into the back before ordering.

Condition — please read. These are new old stock: never installed on a vehicle. They were stored loose together in a bin, so the chrome face may show light scratches, rubs or dull spots, and this varies from piece to piece. That is storage wear, not wear from use. They do not come in original retail packaging. Our photos show a representative example — the emblem you receive will be in similar condition but may differ slightly. Please buy on the condition shown in the photos rather than on the word “new.”
